First of all, I remember that secret romantic weekend in Paris. In particular, I remember waking to the scent of white flowers, with soft tones of geranium and rose drifting through the air.

Later, we walked hand in hand, almost like school children, through the streets of Montmartre. Although Paris was all around us, for a while the city felt quiet, intimate and almost still.

Then a spring shower sent us beneath a silky mimosa tree along Rue d’Armaillé. However, rather than spoiling the moment, the rain somehow made it even more memorable.
